HISTORY
*

In 1998 the creation of VMC was a significant event for the VC industry which traditionally had sold on technology features rather than communications benefits.

VMC's, 'IQ before IT' , approach was new, exciting and immediately successful. The policy of supplying and installing affordable, user friendly, broadcast quality systems and then providing comprehensive training and support programmes which guaranteed the systems were extensively used, won clients in every sector.

VMC always endeavours to provide exactly what our clients want whether that is a fully managed service with permanent staff on site or simply the delivery of the systems for them to install themselves.

VMC, the first Videoconferencing company to achieve ISO Accreditation, now has over 550 clients in 34 territories worldwide and with its sister company, face2face - the world's largest network of low cost Video Meeting Rooms, is part of Noel Edmonds' Unique Group.

"When my companies adopted Videoconferencing the results were dramatic and immediate. We slashed costs, boosted efficiency, increased productivity and turnover and cut travel, making life a lot safer and more enjoyable.

So, having experienced at first hand the life-changing impact of Videoconferencing, I established VMC with its simple philosophy of focusing upon the benefits of Videoconferencing rather than the technology itself."

NOEL EDMONDS , CHAIRMAN, VMC.

"RoSPA are now actively promoting Videoconferencing as an alternative to unnecessary business travel which results in 270 serious injuries or fatalities every week - that's 1 every 15 minutes. Many managers and employers remain totally unaware that they are personally exposed to legal action and even criminal prosecution if they do not reduce the risks associated with 'at-work travel' by adopting, for example, Videoconferencing".
